Why Should I Host A Small Group?
*Change your world.
Jesus used a small group to train and
disciple. Following the teachings and the example He gave, that small group
changed their world.
*Provide a Non-Threatening
Environment to Study God’s Word.
A
lot of people feel intimidated in a large gathering on Sunday mornings.
And in the hustle and bustle they may feel lost. However, when invited to
your home they feel more at ease and feel a significant sense of belonging.
*You can reach people that no one
else can.
Start with your circle of friends. Look at the
people whose numbers are in your cell phone directory. Who are your
neighbors? These are all people that you may be able to connect through
group life.
*You will be blessed.
God never fails to bless those who do His will. The author of Hebrews says, “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another.”
Seeing your friends and neighbors come together to learn more about God and to become supportive and encouraging to one another is a true blessing.
