dra-ma:- any situation or series of events having vivid, emotional, conflicting, or striking interest or results.
The drama ministry partners at First Church of God values the opportunity to express real life situations that reinforce sermon content. Often times Jesus spoke using parables that reinforced real life situations because people could easily connect with vivid word illustrations. Our drama ministry brings this idea to the stage. We portray characters that are confronted in situations and stories that many of us experience in everyday life.
If you ever have a chance to observe one of our skits on Sunday morning our hope is that you will walk away not forgetting the “main point”. We may bring attention to ourselves but this is only done to either make you think, make you laugh, possibly make you cry, but most importantly make you examine your heart and discover that one thing which is keeping you from a closer walk with our Savior.
