Welcome to First Church Worship!
Worship Service Times: Sundays 9 am and 10:40 am
The church of God Reformation Movements has always beein a singing church. Here in Mt. Sterling we are no different. We use a wide variety of musical styles from hymns to comtemporary worship songs, classical, and souther/country as well as some other styles. We believe that there are many styles that minister to everyone who attends. We belive our services are a blend of worship style with a leaning to contemporary.
Included in our worship experiences, you find the use of video, drama, interpretive dance, special music, visual aids and props to focus the worship experience on the theme of the service.
We can show our love for God in many ways and worship gives us the opportunity to do just that. Come wearing your blue jeans or in your best dressed! We encourage you to engage in worhsip through clapping your hands, or just quietly reflecting on God.
Whatever you do, just remember to invite God in and worship in community, opening your heart and mind to hear from the Lord. Come as you are. However you come.."Come...Now is the Time to Worship"!
There are many opportunities to participate in the worship services. Whether you choose the Sanctuary Choir, Drama Troupe, our WAVE team (Worship Audio Video Excellence), Set Design, Vocal or Priase Band Teams, there is something for everyone. You many also serve in Ushering, Greeting, Hosts (First Impressions Team) or serving on our Communion Teams.
